BIOGRAPHY OF BOLA AHMED TINUBU

         Chief Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu GCFR (Grand Commander of the order of the Federal Republic) was born on March 29, 1952, this year of birth is sometimes objected by political opponents who argue that he is much older. Some reliable sources note that his age has not been verified. He is a Muslim and was born in Lagos into the merchant family of Abibatu Mogaji, the ìyálójà of Lagos. He attended Saint John's Primary School, Aroloya Lagos, before proceeding to children home school in Ibadan. He completed his undergraduate studies in the United States, first at Richards Daley College in Chicago and then at Chicago state university. He graduated in 1979 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He worked as an accountant for the American companies Arthur Anderson, Deloitte and GTE Services Corporation. VALENTINE: A CELEBRATION OF LOVE

       Valentine's day is celebrated on February 14th each year. It's a day to celebrate romantic love and affection, and is often celebrated with cards , flowers and chocolates and other gifts. The origins of the holiday are quite complex. The name "valentine's day" comes from Saint Valentine, a Roman priest who lived in the 3rd century. He was imprisoned for performing marriages for soldiers, who were not allowed to marry. While he was imprisoned, he is said to have healed the jailer's blind daughter which resulted to his death. Overtime, his legend grew and he became known as the patron saint of lovers. The first valentine's day celebration began in the middle ages and by the 18th century, it was a common practice to exchange handmade cards and gifts.        Kidnapping, a dating word from the late 17th century was "steal children to provide servants to the American colonies", was derived from the word " KID"  which means "child", and "NAP"  which means "snatch away". After the particularly notorious Lindberg baby kidnapping in 1932.         Kidnapping has now become a big challenge in Nigeria because there is no day in Nigeria when we do not read on newspaper about cases of kidnapping. It refers to an horrific criminal act of taking someone against their will for ransom and other illicit purposes. It is a crime that strikes fear in the hearts of people.
